Rice Cereal

When we returned home from Emily and Matt's wedding, we decided to give Rollin rice cereal for the first time. He LOVED it! He is such a good little boy, so easy going and fun loving. Here are is a cute picture of our happy camper!

Emily and Matt's Wedding!!

Emily and Matt had a fabulous wedding down in Debordieu, South Carolina the weekend of October 17, 2009. We flew down to Charleston and the boys were excellent on the flight (Rollin's 1st flight ever!). Everett thought it was such a big deal to be on an airplane and of course Rollin just slept and ate the whole ride. The wedding weekend was wonderful, we got to see so many extended family members and great friends, it truly was a great event. Of course the happy couple was so excited the whole time and the ceremony was just beautiful, right on the beach. We are so happy to have Matt join the famiy! Here are some pictures of the fun event!

My Big Guy!

Yesterday, we took Rollin to his four month appointment and it turns out, he is a chunky monkey just like his brother. He weighed in at 16 lbs, 14 ozs and was 26 1/2 inches long. That put him in the 90% and 95%. He continues to be the world's easiest baby, we can barely believe it. Each night he sleeps at least 10 hours straight, never fusses and is always smiling. Here is a quick video of him laughing. He is the light of our life!

Fall Time Fun!

We had a great time at Cox Farms in Centreville, VA this past weekend. Everett loved the hayride, all the slides, the live music and of course Goat World. Rollin was a sport, except when it came to taking pictures in the pumpkin patch- he was so not happy! We also had a great visit from Ben's mom, Susan, she is so loving towards the boys and we had a nice visit with her. Hope everyone is enjoying the fall!

Emily's Bachelorette Party-- South Beach!

This past weekend I spent a glorious 40 hours in South Beach celebrating the last days of Emily's single life. Turns out, I am not 21 anymore, but I tried my best to keep up with the youngins :) We stayed at a cute South Beach boutique hotel called the Catalina, it was very trendy and cute and right across the street from the beach. We arrived on Friday night and had a great dinner at Nobu at the Shore Club and then hit up a bar at the Shore Club- the Sky Bar. I danced the night away, which was very fun, especially since having the boys I am not entirely sure when was the last time I actually went out dancing. We went to the beach on Saturday and to a nice lunch and then had the bachelorette party festivities on Saturday night in our room. We had a nice personal shower for Emily and played a lot of silly games (thanks Jenni!) and went to Clevelander for some dancing. Emily had a great time, which I was so happy about! It was so wonderful to spend time with my sisters away from all the kids and just be able to relax and visit with each other. Except for my pumping every two hours, I did not miss the boys too much-- shh...don't tell them!

Brothers Times Two!

Josh has been in town for two weeks for work and we have gotten the chance to see a lot of him and it has been great for the boys to get to know him better! Texas is too far away :( Ben has loved spending time with him and chatting up a storm, which I imagine Rollin and Everett will do one day. Brothers is such a great relationship.
