Father's Day 2011

Happy Father's Day to my amazing husband. You are the best thing that has ever happened to our family, I am so proud you are the boys daddy and my husband. Thank you for all you do for us! Love you! Mandy

Party Time!

A few weeks after Rollin's actual birthday we had his party at the Falls Church Fire Station with 15 of his little friends. It was a great party place and the firemen were so interactive with the kids and showed them all around the fire station and everyone got to sit it the firetruck and watch a safety demonstration. We had the extra special treat of having Aunt Abby and Uncle Steve come down from NJ and Grammy and Pap Pap come up from Williamsburg. Here are some photos of the fun event!

Rollin's Second Birthday!

We had a low key birthday for Mr. Rollin on his actual birthday- party at the fire station will take place in a few weekends. We had a nice dinner at Red Robin and celebrated with cake and some singing. Rollin especially liked the phone calls he got from grammy, pap pap, aunt jenni and aunt emily which all included a signing of happy birthday- it was very very cute to see his face light up when he heard their voices. very sweet. We also had the good fortune to have the Knapp family visiting from AZ this week. It was wonderful to get a chance to catch up with them and their adorable kids, Soren (4) and Harper (almost 2). Here are some pictures of their visit and Rollin's birthday!

Rollin Vincent's Second Year at OneTrueMedia.com

Happy 2nd Birthday My Sweet Rollin

Tomorrow is Rollin's second birthday and I often find myself wishing I could find a way to stop time and just keep he and Everett the same age they are right now. I love their ages, so full of innocence and wonder, it makes me smile each and every day. When I think back on Rollin's birth and all the apprehension we had with his potential health issues and how far he has come and what a big, loving, sweet natured boy he is, I find myself feeling so proud. I love you my sweet Rollie and look forward to watching you grow up. You are my everything.

Memorial Day Weekend

We just returned from three nights at the Greenbrier, and had the best weekend with the boys. This was our second trip to the Greenbrier, our first being when Everett was three months old. We were excited to actually get to participate in all the fun activities the Greenbrier has for children. We spent lots of time at the pool, the playground, bowling, playing in the toy store and eating our meals at much too fancy restaurants. If you are familiar with the Greenbrier, you know that is a very traditional southern resort- everyone is always dressed to the nines and children are very well behaved. Well, our boys were such good little men (most of the time)- we did have one instance of Everett throwing his first ever temper tantrum during breakfast in the main dining room on our last morning and him peeing all over the foyer floor, otherwise they were perfect little southern gentlemen. They had a great time and we cannot wait to return in a few weeks for Ben's work retreat. These kids do not know how lucky they have it :)

Baby Brock Arrives!

Baby Brock made his appearance inthis world three weeks early! Thankfully, Ben and the boys and I were able to make it to Pittsburgh to see him when he was only 24 hours old. He is an adorable baby and the boys were smitten with him- it was so cute! Rollin even tried to kiss him on the lips! I had to quickly stop him, which I think confused him a bit. Everett tried to share his army men with him, they are hysterical. I can envision the three of these wild boys playing when they get older. I love them all!
