Summer Time Fun!

I feel so terrible that I have neglected this blog for so long! We have been quite busy these past few months and now the summer is almost over. We are expecting our 4th baby and our third boy in three weeks. September 5 is the big day and we are busy getting his room ready and preparing for his arrival. We also moved in mid-May to a new house a few neighborhoods away. We are loving the new space and the kids have made the transition so well. We are finally all settled and we are happy that our new location allows us not only to walk to the pool but also to Rollin and Ruby's preschool in Westover. Everett will be starting Kindergarten in three weeks! He will go to Tuckahoe and is so excited. He will do great with the transition I am sure, probably much better than I will! I am going to miss him. Rollin is doing well-- we had a few health scares the past few weeks with him complaining of headaches, but after another CT scan, some bloodwork and repeated optic nerve screens there are no major issues- but he is anemic. Which is not surprising as his diet consists of bread and more bread and of course sweets! Ruby will be two in two weeks, which we can hardly believe. She is such a little boss lady- and we love her. She is talking up a storm already which is very funny. She LOVES her brothers and her daddy-- and most days, her mommy :) We have been spending a lot of time at the pool this summer- Everett is a fantastic little swimmer, can already do a whole lap free and backstroke. Rollin has gotten so much more comfortable and is off swimming with his floatties all by himself. Ruby is very adventurous and comfortable in the water and I have no doubt she will take after mommy in the pool. We have had the great fortune to travel a bit this year. We had a great time to Mexico for spring break with Jenni, Will and the kids. Spent a weekend at the Homestead, a week in Amelia Island and a few other little weekend trips to Williamsburg and Corolla in the Outer Banks. Here are some photos of my little sweethearts. Life is good and we expect it to only get better when Baby Ben arrives!!
