South of the Border!

Ben and I just returned from four nights, five days in Tulum, Mexico (90 minutes south of Cancun). We had a lovely time at a little boutique resort called Blue Tulum. We relaxed, laid in the sun, went to the gym, got massages and biked to see the Mayan ruins... all while our little men at home were being cared for by Grammy (and Pap Pap too!). And that little stinker Rollin decided he would crawl for the FIRST time while we were away, such a fun thing to come home to see though! We missed the boys terribly and talked about them non-stop, but it was very nice to spend a few days with just Ben and remember how much fun we have together. Here are some photos of our excellent trip! We are already planning our next getaway, but we should at least give Grammy and Pap Pap a year off :)

Swim Lessons!

Tonight was Rollin's first swim class! He was too cute in his waterbabies class with his dinosaur swim trunks. He loved splashing in the water and staring at all the other babies in the class. Everett had a blast playing in the water along side him. I just love these boys!

Wednesdays with Everett

Each week I look forward to my special time with Everett, which is Wednesday mornings. Ever since Rollin was born, I made a point to carve out one-on-one time with my little man. In the beginning we would just go to the pool, or the park, then it was on to gymnastics class, then gymboree class and today we started our five week long class at the National Zoo. Today, the class was all about snakes, which Everett loves. We spend time at various activity stations, then do circle time and then a walk to the animal of the week. I just love my time with Everett, as he gets older he is becoming so much fun, I love talking to him and eating lunch with him and snuggling with him. I am so lucky I have the resources to have Miriam come on Wednesday mornings to be with Rollin so I can give Everett 100% of my undivided attention. I look forward to doing the same types of activities with Rollin when Everett starts his two-day-a-week preschool next fall. Here are some pictures from his first zoo class. Love that kid!

Being Silly with Grammy

Everett LOVES to dance and so does Grammy- so they got their groove on while in the bottom of the boat during our ride this past Easter weekend. Check out my little mover and shaker below with his Grammy (and Rols too!).

I Love my Twin Cousin!

This past week, we had a special treat of having Miss Amelia come visit all the way from Florida. She even brought her mommy and Uncle Guy and Aunt Maria! Everett was so excited for Amelia to come and play and they had the BEST time running around chasing each other and jumping in the crib. They are both such amazing little people-it is hard to believe only two years ago they were little babies. It is such fun to watch them grown older and I love their special bond.

Easter 2010

We just got back from a wonderful holiday weekend in Williamsburg with Grammy and Pap Pap. The boys had such a fun time going out for a ride on Pap Pap's boat, a trip to Busch Gardens and then of course charming all of Grammy's friends at church. Everett was so excited that the Easter Bunny brought him lots of "treats" and Rollin loved all the attention from everyone. We are so thankful for how wonderful my parents are to the boys, they are the greatest grandparents, so loving and kind, our boys are very lucky!
