Memorial Day Weekend

My three boys and I just got back from a fun weekend in Williamsburg, VA for Memorial Day weekend. We started the weekend with a visit with Kristen and her adorable kids, Pierson and Savannah and Clare and her new arrival, Kyle, who is just a week old! Everett loved playing with Pierson and I loved catching up with my good friends. On Friday night we took the boys out on the boat and when we sat down to dinner at that Grammy made, Everett said "This is a Really good dinner!" He is too cute. On Saturday we took the boys to the farmer's market on DOG street, paddleboating at Waller Mill pond and to a BBQ with old friends at night. Everett impressed everyone with his Spanish at dinner and loved every minute of being the center of attention. On Sunday, Ben and I got to take little Everett to Busch Gardens for a few hours by himself, which was such fun! We love our season passes! We ended the day with a trip to the pool and the drive home. Today we took the boys to the first day of the "sprayground" and dinner with our good friends in Clarendon, the Hardts. Such a fun weekend with my boys!! I love them so much and am trying to enjoy and remember each moment because before too long they will be grown up :(

Faces of the Day

Just a few quick photo uploads of my favorite little men- Everett- 27 months- Rollin- 11 months. They are such fun these days. Rollin is crawling all over the place and is in to everything. Everett is so sweet and chats the day away each day. Love them to pieces.

Engagement News!!

Just wanted to post a quick blog about Abby and Steve's upcoming wedding in NJ in October 2010! We could not be more pleased for such an amazing couple, Abby is so very excited and they make a great couple, and we are so happy to welcome Steve in to the family. And I am super honored because I was asked to be her matron of honor!! I really feel like Abby is my actual sister and I so look forward to standing up there with her on her wedding day to support her and love her. Now the fun planning process begins......

Day Out with Thomas!

This past Sunday, Ben and I took the boys up to the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore for the Day Out with Thomas. We got a chance to look at all the trains and engines in the Roundhouse, take an actual ride on Thomas, bounce in a moonbounce, take a small train ride and generally just have fun watching the boys walk around so excited about where they were! We met our dear friends, the Hills, from Wilmington, DE there (Baltimore is about 1/2 way between our houses). The Hills have two little boys (Owen and Charlie) and Maureen and I have been good friends since we swam on the summer swim team together at West End when we were teenagers. Now our lives have changed so much and we are both new moms and juggling two little boys so close in age. It is so fun to see the Hill family and we have such fun getting together, wish it could be more often. Here are some photos of our Day Out with Thomas!
