Mother's Day

The boys of course made Mother's Day very special. We had the extra special pleasure of having Grammy come up for the weekend, which the boys loved. The boys brought me breakfast in bed-- despite spilling OJ and syrup all over the bed, it was very cute. They are adorable. We went to a nice brunch after church and we got to spend a lot of family time together which is my favorite thing in the world to do. Here are some pictures of my precious little men. I cannot wait to use my spa gift certificate on Thursday afternoon as I prepare for Ben and I's black tie event to benefit the Wounded Warriors Foundation. Should be a fun and fancy event :)

Day Out with Thomas!

A few weekends ago, we took our annual trip to the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore for the annual Day Out with Thomas the Train festivities. We met a bunch of friends there this time- the Lawsons, The Hardts, the Farhats and then ran in to a handful of other friends from college and DC randomly. Seems like everyone was there for the fun. The boys had a great time and it was such a nice event. Here are some pictures of my favorite boys!

Easter in Williamsburg

Hello Everyone! We had a wonderful Easter weekend in Williamsburg at Grammy and Pap Pap's house. It was a full house as Jenni and all three girls and Matt, Emily and baby to be Brock also joined in on the fun. We had a wonderful baby shower for Emily at the Williamsburg Lodge and the kids went on a Easter Egg Hunt and colored eggs and we had a nice time at church and lovely brunch afterwards. The boys could not get enough of their cousins, it was wonderful to see them having so much fun together and makes me sad everyone lives so far apart, we will just have to make the most out of our limited time together. Here are some photos of our weekend. Love to all- Mandy

Spring Time!

Spring is officially upon us in D.C. but it sure does not feel like it outside. It has been cold, rainy and dreary most days, but there are beautiful moments of sunshine which make our day. We have been so busy the past few months. Everett has started up soccer again on Saturday mornings and we have been having fun on the weekends doing various spring activities-- kite festival, seeing the Cherryblossoms, going on nature hikes and spending as much time as we can outside. We took our annual trip to the Circus as well which the boys loved. We are looking forward to spending Easter in Williamsburg when Emily, Matt and baby Reinert will be coming and Jenni and the girls. We cannot wait to spend some time with family. Here are some pictures of our little men and what they have been up to lately!

Future Caps Player?

Everett had his first hockey lesson last Sunday and he was proud as a peacock getting dressed in his CAPs jacket (thank you Grammy and Pap Pap), putting on his skates and heading out on the ice. He tried so hard and was a little unsure of himself, but we are so proud of him for trying. Here are some pictures of my doll baby.

Family Photo Shoot!

Back around Thanksgiving we had a photographer come and take some pictures of the family primarily for our holiday card, but he got some good candids as well. Here are the ones we ordered. I love the ones of the boys together- they are turning out to be very best friends which is wonderful to see as a mom.

Everett Three Year Appointment

Everett had his three year appointment with Dr. Barakat yesterday and it went very well. Everett is a very healthy boy and a big one too! His measurements were 38 inches tall (80%) and 40.2 lbs (off the charts!). Here is a picture of my beautiful big boy!
