End of Summer

I cannot believe the summer is almost all over! We have been very busy this past month. The month started with my 34th (gasp!) birthday. We had a nice dinner with the boys and my dad at Cheescake Factory (yum!) a few days before my birthday and then Ben and I had a romantic night out alone at Founding Farmers in DC. It is a great restaurant, all the ingredients are organic and from local farmers, it was so excellent and we had a great time just being alone for a few hours. Last weekend we had Emily's bridal shower in West Virginia-- we had a great time! My mom did such a fantastic job planning the fun event and Rollin and I drove to WV and spent the weekend with my aunt Amy and her family. Everett and Ben went down to my dad's for the weekend for a guys weekend :) Too cute. Rollin and I then met Everett down in Williamsburg and bought season passes to Busch Gardens and went twice. Everett loved it, he could not get enough of the rides and was not scared one bit. We are already planning our next trip for next week with our friends Kristen and Pierson. We also joined a local pool for the month of August and try to go every day. It can be a bit hard handling both boys at the pool by myself, but I am managing-- oh, and we also joined a playgroup that meets every Thursday afternoon. Overall, very busy, but having a great summer and Rollin continues to get bigger each day and is SUCH a good baby, we are so lucky. Everett is starting to talk up a storm, new words each day! Here are some photos from the last month.
