Membership Has Its Privileges

Many people do not know, but D.C. actually has a acquarium- the National Acquarium. It is very small and at the basement of the Commerce Building, but actually is the perfect size for our little men. We joined since we go often enough and this morning from 8-9 they had a membership event for kids to meet Sponge Bob Squarepants. Well, it was actually pretty sad in that there were only four other kids at the entire event. But that did not stop us from having a great time- the acquarium had breakfast all set up, a craft table for coloring and of course Sponge Bob himself. Here is a funny picture of us at the event. The boys loved it!

Everett, when I went in May, I remember there was a little alligator at the aquarium. Has it grown bigger? I like alligators because they are my Daddy's football team. :) - Love, Amelia
